How to get at Rio Open
TAXI
We advise the audience to use regular cabs, painted in yellow and with a blue stripe. The yellow taxis have taximeter, while the blue taxis charge fixed prices. We also advise the public to choose cabs from cooperatives for more security.
SUBWAY (METRÔ)
MetrôRio has 41 stations, three working lines, and 14 integration points for you to get where you want. It functions daily, on Monday to Saturday from 5 AM to 0 AM; on Sunday and holidays from 7 AM to 11 PM. At the MetrôRio’s website, you can plan your trip and have access to the route you should take to get to your destiny.
The Antero de Quental (Line 4) station is located 1km from the Rio Open entrance (12-minute walk distance).
BUS
If you want to know the best bus option to reach your destiny, visit www.vadeonibus.com.br. This app developed by Fetranspor has informations from all of the lines and bus stops of the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, including fare information, real time positioning and nearby maps. How to get to Rio de Janeiro
PLANE
There are daily and direct flights coming from the major states of the country. Both Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport (Galeão) as Santos Dumont Airport are good options to arrive in town . Santos Dumont is closer to downtown and the South Side. Near the airports you can find common and executive buses, as well as taxis. You can also save money taking the executive blue buses of the Real company. You can also take the VLT, a light train that connects the most important parts of the city.

BUS
The Novo Rio Bus Terminal is located the side of the harbour of the city and offers an easy access to the main tourist attractions of the city. The place receives buses coming from the major Brazilian cities.
Some options are: São Geraldo (0800-704-3496), Itapemirim (0800-723-2121), Cometa (4004-9600), 1001 (4004-5001), Águia Branca (4004-1010) e Penha (0800-723-2121).
As you arrive in Rio by bus, take one of the registered taxis that are operating (with tabulated prices) alongside the arrivals terminal.
